A referral program should ensure that you get quality, actionable contacts to follow up on. This doesn’t mean that they must “buy now” but that at some future time they will change to active customers, if followed up on properly. Try to keep it simple, this will usually give you the best idea on how to have them work well for your company, this may only work for your business and not other companies. Run the program different ways until you get the desired results – if not, make some small changes until you reach a formula that works the best.
